Meet our 2024 Rising Stars!

Todd Bettinson
Senior Loan Officer
Movement Mortgage

Todd Bettinson is a Mortgage Loan Officer committed to helping First Time Home Buyers and repeat buyers attain their homeownership goals. He strives to help them feel educated, confident, and comfortable while they search for their new homes. Having a long background in Retail Banking, and having practiced real estate in 2013 and 2014, when Todd made the transition into the Mortgage Industry, it was a natural fit. These past experiences allow him to understand and empathize with the perspective of the other parties involved in real estate transactions. With a well-rounded background and strong knowledge of the mortgage industry, Todd has helped hundreds of families attain home ownership, and is excited to continue to assist families in their homeownership goals. When Todd is not working, he enjoys traveling with his wife, friends, and family, playing hockey, and hiking.

Amanda Day
Mortgage Risk Analyst
Digital Federal Credit Union (DCU)

Amanda Day started her banking career as a teller quickly realized her passion of helping members achieve their financial goals, especially homeownership.  This led to her transition to Mortgage Department as a processor in 2021.  Over the next 3 years Amanda got her realtor license and started to lean towards the regulatory and compliance side of mortgages bringing her to the current position of Mortgage Risk Analyst.  She has her bachelor’s degree in biology and a master’s in business administration.  In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and children and doing crafts.

James Macaruso
Mortgage Operations Team Leader
Digital Federal Credit Union (DCU)

Jimmy joined DCU in 2012 and has been part of the mortgage industry for eight and a half years.  Jimmy has held individual and leadership roles within originations and processing.  He excelled in his individual roles and advanced to a team leader position in 2017.  He continues to thrive and motivate his team to success while maintaining a positive attitude and a solution-oriented focus.  His dedication to continuous improvement, serving our members and mentoring others have been his strong suits.  Jimmy is now among our most tenured team leaders, sharing his knowledge and leading by example.  His tenacity and drive to accomplish his goals and support others will continue to serve him well as he continues to develop his career.

Daniela Morais
Mortgage Loan Officer
Cape Cod Five

Daniela Morais joined Cape Cod 5 in 2014 and became a Mortgage Loan Officer in 2022, serving Cape Cod. Prior to her current role, Daniela served as Internet Lending Coordinator, and previously worked in retail banking for a national bank. 

Daniela moved from Brazil to Cape Cod with her parents and siblings in 2005. After graduating from Barnstable High School in 2009, she attended Cape Cod Community College. Daniela is multilingual and very passionate about serving the Latino Hispanic community on Cape Cod. As an immigrant herself, she understands the challenges and circumstances that immigrants may face and is dedicated to helping her community with their home financing needs.

Carla Parodi
Mortgage Production Coordinator & Closer
Fidelity Bank

Carla is a Mortgage Production Coordinator and Closer at Fidelity Bank.  Her career with Fidelity started as a teller in 2018.  In 2020 she moved to the mortgage department as an Equity Processor.  Her passion for learning and helping clients helped her transition to her current position shortly after.  Carla enjoys taking on new projects, helping streamline processes and learning all the different aspects of a loan, from initial disclosures, to processing, and closing.  During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two curious kids.
